About the artist
Ken McCalla's work as an artist has spanned over 20 years, and embraces carving, painting, printing, sculpture, film and theatre. His artwork explores his personal growth, questions relationships, celebrates harmony and reflects a cultural identity.
Education and workhops
in an effort to bridge gaps between the young and old, and changes in our culture, Ken
has a range of art workshops under the theme of 'Sankofa'. Focusing on learning from our past , values needed for our future. Lessons involve
story telling, potato printing, card making and printing techniques. For all age groups workshops can be tailored to your needs.
